How do I personalize my item?
Simply type the information that you would like to appear on the gift in the personalization fields provided. It is very important that you double check all spellings and dates as we will engrave exactly what you enter.
Image Guidelines & Help
For items requiring an image to be uploaded as part of the personalization, please read the following guidelines for the best possible end product. Please note that we will not call you for a different image unless we are completely incapable of using your image, and this is rare.
  1. Please DO NOT CROP your image. Let us crop to where we need to! We work with what we are given so if you send a cropped image we sometimes have to make the image fit and add a background of a complimentary color so that the entire face cane be seen. If we do not do this, part of thee face/head will be cut off. This is especially the case on heart shaped items, which is why it's extremely important NOT to send cropped images.
  2. If there are multiple people in the image, all will be on the product so if there is only supposed to be one person, please only send us a picture of that person (uncropped, of course!).
  3. Our design team is very talented and will take the time to make sure that the product will look it's best with what we are given. If you are questioning the quality of your image please try to find one you think will look better.
  4. If the quality of the picture looks good on your screen, it's generally good for us to use! If it looks blurry, it will produce blurry.  
  5. Look at the shape of the box where the picture goes and try to imagine what your image will look like in it... if it's square, are you sending a very vertical image (that might be cropped so there is only one person) the head of that person may be very large. This is why we stress not to send cropped images.

Can I use special characters?
We strongly suggest that you don't. While some of our fonts work with special characters, many do not and we will delete any character that does not properly show up.
Can I put two names on an item?
Absolutely! We don't limit the amount of characters, but keep in mind, the more characters you enter, the smaller the text becomes. Rest assured, we take great care when we set up your order so it looks wonderful!
Is the gift message engraved on the item?
Gift messages are cards that are printed and affixed to the outside of the item's box. These cards are 3.5”x2” so short and sweet messages are best to be sure the recipient can read the card!
Do I have to put all the personalization in?
Absolutely not! If you only want the name or a nick name or even no personalization at all, we will do that! It’s completely up to you. Please make sure you always upload picture for any items that need an image (We do not print pictures for frames though, sorry!)
Do I have to enter personalization?
Nope...Please note that if you do not enter any personalization, we take off the standard ‘in loving memory’ or appropriate wording so the item doesn’t look like it’s missing something. For wind chimes that have no personalization entered, we engrave or print the design on both sides of the sail!
What is the gift wrapping?
We use a beautiful silver wrapping paper with a sheer red ribbon for the perfect finishing touch.
Can I use my own poem or wording?
If you would like to use your own poem or wording there is a design set-up fee for our art department to custom design your product. Please give us a call for more information – 877.349.8149 or 614.876.7122

~ Help with Completing Your Order ~
Can I ship to multiple places?
Our system only allows for one ship-to address. If you are ordering multiple items and they each go to someone else, you will need to place separate orders for each address you are shipping to.
It’s not taking my discount code
Not all discount and promotional codes found using an internet search are valid codes. If you find a code on one of the coupon sites and it doesn't work, it simply means it is not a valid code and it will not be honored during checkout. Periodically we offer coupons and discount codes to our customers and the best way to get these discounts is to sign up for our newsletter or like us on Facebook.
I keep getting an error when checking out
The most common reason you might get an error is because your billing information does not match the billing information for the credit card you used to pay for the order. Double check that they match and if you are still having errors, please call us (877.349.8149.7122) and we’ll try to help!
My order is a gift for someone, please do not include the pricing!
Most of the orders that we ship are gifts for someone other than the person that ordered it and we understand you do not want them to see what you paid. We do need to have some way to make sure we send the orders to the right people so we put a packing slip on the outside of the box that tells what is inside the package and who it is from. This slip has no pricing information on it but will show your information as the bill to address.

  • Orders $0-$99.99 - $9.99 Economy Shipping (Delivery by USPS) - Only valid for lower 48 states
  • Orders over $100 - Free Economy Shipping (Delivery by USPS) - Only valid for lower 48 states
  • FedEx Ground, FedEx Express & FedEx International rates are calculated using real-time rates at checkout
How long does it take to make my order?
Production takes 1-2 business days. Most of the time orders ship the day after they are placed! We can also rush production and ship the same day for orders placed prior to 1pm, just give us a call to confirm we can do it! 
When will I receive my order?
Your order will go into production the day after you place it and generally takes 1 to 2 business days to personalize. Once personalized, it will ship out of our Columbus, Ohio facility via the delivery method you chose at check out. Below is the time frame for you to expect delivery of your order. Please note, these delivery times are for the lower 48 states only. Alaska, Hawaii and all international orders generally take anywhere from 2-3 weeks for delivery.
• $9.99 Economy Shipping & Free Shipping – Transit Time: 1-2 weeks - Delivery by USPS and will be on your doorstep in 1-2 weeks
• FedEx Ground Service – 3-7 business days - Delivery by FedEx Ground to your door in 3-7 business days

• FedEx 2-Day Service – 3-4 business days - Delivers by FedEx Express to your door in 3-4 business days
• FedEx Overnight – 2-3 business days - Delivery by FedEx Express to your door in 2-3 business days
• International Shipping – 1-3 weeks
**The final recipient is responsible for all duties/taxes, Free Shipping is not offered for International Shipping, only published FedEx rates. Duties, taxes and fees are assed once the package reaches its destination.
 **Keep in mind business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or major holidays.
What If I need my order by a certain date?
We can usually accommodate time-sensitive orders, but please call us (877.349.8149) first to make sure we can because we still need time to make your order. If we do not know your order is time specific, we cannot guarantee you will have it when you need it. It is important that you call regarding time sensitive orders so that we can help you choose the right shipping method to ensure you have it on or before the day you need it!
International Shipping
Remember Me Gifts currently offers international shipping to the following countries: Canada, The United Kingsdom, Germany, Ireland, France and Australia. Please note that all international orders may be subject to additional taxes, tariffs and duties at the time of delivery. These fees are not included in the quoted shipping cost on our site and the recipient is responsible for these additional fees.

Why is my order being returned to you and what happens now?

Orders that are shipped through economy shipping are delivered by the post office and sometimes are returned to us for various reasons. The most common are: no mail receptacle, invalid address, missing apartment number, or the end recipient was left a note to pick up the package at the post office. Orders are then returned to Remember Me Gifts and can take anywhere between 1-2 weeks, sometimes longer, to get back to us. Once we do receive them back we will get in contact with you for a corrected shipping address as well as to collect payment for additional shipping to reship the package as well as the return postage fee that we incurred. This return postage fee is what the post-office is charging us to return the package to us and we have no control over this fee, which can range anywhere from $10-$14. 

~ Customer Service ~
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, cancellations cannot be accepted once you have completed and placed your order as it moves into the production process immediately in order to be able to ship out within our window of 1-2 days for production.
Can I change my order?
Completion of your order confirms and acknowledges that you have reviewed and verified the accuracy of your entire order prior to submission. We do try to accommodate changes if you find a mistake in your personalization provided that production has not begun. If you find an error after your order is placed, EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY ( and if we haven't begun the engraving process, we will make the changes you need. If your gift has begun the production process, we are unable to make any changes to it.
It is the responsibility of the customer to review their order for correct spelling and all personalization that they enter as Remember Me Gifts holds no responsibility for any misspellings nor will it correct any spelling errors. In the checkout window, you may need to click the "Hide/View" button to see the details.
What if I am not satisfied with my order?
We stand behind the quality of our products. If your order is not 100% free from defects in materials and workmanship, email us ( within 30 days of receipt for a prompt exchange for the same item. Include in the email your name, order number and images of the item/defect itself for us to take a look at. In very rare instances we may request that the items be sent back to us for inspection due to the defects and you can simply mail it back through the post office.
There's a mistake on my personalization
Everyone makes mistakes (including us!), so, please take special care to double check your order and the personalization you've entered including all spelling, names, dates, etc. In the event that you made an error and need a replacement, we offer a 20% discount on the replacement. Just give us a call (877.349.8149) to get that process started. Of course, if we made the error, we will replace your item at no cost to you.
We simply copy and paste the information you enter in the personalization onto the artwork to be engraved. It is the responsibility of the customer to review the order to be sure all words are spelled correctly and dates are correct. Remember Me Gifts does not fix any spelling errors or errors in dates.
Can I place my order over the phone?
Remember Me Gifts strongly suggests that you place your order online so that you can review the personalization that you enter for your order, however, we can take your order over the phone. Please be aware, while we do read the personalization back to you, Remember Me Gifts bears no responsibility in the entry of the personalization and if a mistake was made, we will not replace your order. It is imperative that you double check your order confirmation for the correctness in the personalization that was entered.
How can I enter my promotion code once I have submitted my order?
Promotional codes can only be used at the time of ordering and cannot be used on orders that are already submitted.
I placed an order online and it wouldn't take my credit card and I am now showing multiple charges on my credit card.
This is due to the bank of the credit card. When you try to purchase an item and it will not take your credit card the bank allocates the funds even though our system will deny the payment and order due to discrepancies. These discrepancies are usually errors in entering the cards billing address. We take your security very seriously and we cannot accept a credit card that does not match the billing address. If you have recently moved please make sure to use your old address if you have not updated your information with your credit card company.
The multiple pending transactions that are shown on your bank statement as payment will be redeposited in 2-5 business days depending on your banks policies. If after this time period, the pending transactions are still on your bank statement, we advise you to call your bank directly. You should only see one charge per completed order with Remember Me Gifts.
