Friends are the best and more often than not, they help give us every reason to smile, laugh and just be happy. Since Feb. 17th is Send a Card to a Friend Day, make their day amazing and show your friends you care!
Sending a card is always appreciated and with so many different ways to send them, you can make sure all your friends can receive a little something to smile about.
Send Some Snail Mail!
This probably isn’t the first choice on how you can send a card to a friend, but you can get pretty creative with it. You can make a card for them and send it in the mail. You might be surprised by how many friends would love to have a physical card from you. It’s something they can easily display as a reminder that there’s a friend who really cares.
Visit in them In Person!
If you’re able to see your friends in person, then a meaningful gesture is definitely going to be giving them a card in person. Not only will they love the fact that they are getting a card from you, but they will also appreciate your hand delivering the card as well.
It’s also a great way to give a gift with the card, if that’s something you want to do. It’s such a rare thing to actually see each other in person these days, that it will definitely make their entire day to see you and get a card altogether.
Send An Email or Text!
Now if your friends live really far away, and there’s no chance a card will reach them in time, you can go the digital route. You still don’t have to be boring with it. Throw in some animations and leave a personal message to go along with it. This can work for an email or a text. Either way, you’re making sure you communicate to your friends that you care about them. It will definitely not take much to make them happy.
Need Ideas of Things to Say or Do?
Aside from sending the actual card, you can add your own personal message, even if the card already comes with a message. Just throw in a few extra phrases. Here are some ideas:
1. “Just wanted to show you how much I care.”
2. “Thinking of you today.”
3. “Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate having you as a friend.”
4. “You’re the best friend anyone could ever ask for.”
5. “Thought this would make your day better.”
6. “Here’s a little something to brighten your day.”
7. “Just thought you should know what a wonderful friend you are.”
8. “Making your day better with a little surprise.”
9. “Enjoy a little pick-me-up and a smile today.”
10. “Here’s a little something to let you know you are a great friend.”
A card is always a thoughtful idea for showing your friends how much you care, but you can always just be there for a friend when they need you most.
